“If housetraining is proving to be a problem or if your puppy or young dog is having problems containing himself overnight, there are measures you can take that will help. If urinating is the problem, restrict water after 6:00 or 7:00 pm. If bowel movements are taking place at night, give the final meal of the day at an earlier time. In any event, make sure the pup is taken outdoors or to his designated area just before you retire for the evening.”
